Delicious Treats Made from Berries of the Saimaa Region
Teemu Eskelinen, the owner of HerkkuPekka in Savonlinna, started making his own gelato to celebrate the company's 30th anniversary back in 2022. The gelatos are handcrafted our bakery located on Olavinkatu, in the heart of Savonlinna. The berries for our berry gelatos and sorbets are handpicked from the surrounding areas of Savonlinna and supplied by local berry merchandisers.

You can find HerkkuPekka’s products in local restaurants during the summer and in nearby stores all year round. All our delicious products are made in our own bakery, located to the back of our café, where the secrets of dough-making have been passed down from generation to generation – from father to son, and now to Teemu's son.
