We Support restaurants using D.O. Saimaa products value the origin, purity and high quality of their ingredients. Restaurants favour fresh fish from the local area, seasonal vegetables, berries and fruit, and locally produced meat.

We Support star rating for restaurants

The restaurants are classified as five, three and one-star We Support restaurants according to how much the kitchen uses D.O. Saimaa products.

*****  A five-star We Support restaurant uses at least five D.O. Saimaa products or raw materials on a regular basis.
*** The three-star We Support restaurant uses at least three D.O. Saimaa products or raw materials on a regular basis.

*’The one-star rating has been removed and We Support restaurants with one support star will gradually switch to regularly using D.O. Saimaa products or ingredients worth three or five stars.
