Just 700 meters from Mäntyharju Market Square, Rantaravintola Kurkiniemi offers a relaxed summer dining experience with stunning lake views by the shores of Pyhävesi. Known for its diverse menu and friendly service, Kurkiniemi is the perfect place to soak in the summer vibe with delicious food, a beautiful setting, and warm hospitality.
 
The restaurant’s cozy indoor space is housed in a charming over 120-year-old log building, which once served as a residence for railway employees. Located right next to Mäntyharju railway station, Kurkiniemi also boasts a spacious terrace area and a lakeside deck with breathtaking views of Pyhävesi.
 
Our terrace menu features an array of local delicacies. Over the years, we’ve proudly used Highland beef from Hinkkuri Highland, pork from Kuvala Farm, lamb kebab from Iso-Mikkanen Farm, and various products from Vierula Farm. We also incorporate aromatic dried herbs from Heikkilä Herb Farm, fresh herbs and salads from Järvikylä Manor, and fish products from Järvi-Suomen Kalatuote. Kurkiniemi’s Local Burgers and fried vendace dishes have already become classics for many of our guests.
