Steak from the Hirvensalmi countryside
Organic farm Siiriäinen breeds Charolais beef cattle organically in the pure traditional landscape of South Savo in Hirvensalmi. The Siiriäinen family has been farming and raising livestock organically for more than 15 years.
Livestock graze the farm's fields and forest pastures, which are part of the traditional biotopes, all year round. Cattle spend the cold season in groups in their own winter pens.
The main reason why we practice organic farming is animal welfare. We want to offer our cattle the best possible life and the best possible meat for our customers.

Siiriäinen does not use any purchased fodder, and the farm's harvest is used entirely to feed its own livestock. The Siiriäinen farm sells its meat directly to consumers and restaurants. The meat produced by the farm has become quite popular among discerning South Savo consumers for the quality and ethical origin of its meat.
